On the Word Brainwashing

Brainwashing and mind control and Hypnosis are all real things.

The evidence for the above is simply the fact that narcissists exist, gaslighting exists, meditation exists, psychology exists, and propaganda and marketing exists.

Brainwashing is merely the term for cleaning the mind from old thoughts and beliefs and implanting or ‘flooding’ the mind with new ones. In meditation, one of the Zen states of the mind is to have a ‘beginner mindset’ or simply a ‘blank slate’, which is similar to the term and effects of brainwashing. To factory reset someone to be an empty palette or an empty tablet. To see things again clearly without judgement like the eyes of a child learning and playing. The term ‘tabula rasa’ comes from Latin meaning ‘Tablet erase’. A clean mind empty and devoid of thoughts, or a mind that has been washed with so much of the same repeating thoughts or mantras is flooded. A Flooded mind is by definition, at some point, washed one. Whether the mind is wet or dry depends on the information and amount of information left over.

Mind Control is the simple act of heavily influencing people to submit to someone’s authority or control. This can be achieved through utilizing a belief system that’s powerful, such as the belief in money. Some people can be easily influenced to believe or act a certain way just by simply handing them money that they believe in. Mind control can also work with subliminals and marketing ploys, and there’s plenty of declassified CIA documents on the matter if you’re interested. Additionally in relationships, someone can peeve you and upset you and live in your head rent free, that’s giving them a grip of your mind to a degree, mind control in a way.

Hypnosis is simply the art of suggestions, and the suggestions can influence or inhibit the mind and the subconscious to achieve performative or medicinal results. In a passive sense, we call these people in the modern digital age, social media influencers. As much as our peers influence us, so too does society and every person running our confidence in a Con-Game trying to convince us of their own conditions.

Let me pose for you this question,

What things do you have to believe or presuppose being true, to act the way you do?

When you put your car key in your car and turn the ignition, do you anticipate your car to turn on? Will it only turn on with the keys in the ignition? If you believe all of that, then it’s obvious that your action would reflect that belief. So if you wanted to turn on your car on and drive, you would act in a way to make that happen. Which means getting your keys, and turning on your car.

If you were to try and take five steps in front of you. You would believe that the floor would hold onto you and prop you up. If you didn’t trust the steps in front of you like a rickety bridge, then would you walk forward? When you walk on a sidewalk, do you anticipate falling through the earth? When you step down an uneven staircase, does your feet ever miss a step and you feel betrayed by your expectation?

If you believed fully that the sun wouldn’t rise tomorrow and that you only have ten hours to live, what would you do instead? Would you still care about a job or money or would you still plan as if tomorrow is guaranteed? Quite often you’ll find, that nothing is guaranteed and there are no safe best in this world. Yet how we act is in a sense, a performance of our beliefs. We work a job because we have seen that it can bring money. What if you get short changed or they forget to pay you? What if this happens for months? Would you believe them to eventually pay you or not? Would you act to work still or not?

If actions are based on a belief, then what beliefs would someone have to either force into you or implant or suggest to you to assume to be true, to act the way that someone else wants you to?

We see this very often in marketing and sales, the product has to achieve a need whether real or imagined and be of such a value or convenience that a consumer would feel impelled or compelled to buy it. Some people even go to sleep thinking about whether or not they should buy that New Truck or New Mattress or go through a business deal. Some people often buy things they don’t need to test a new theory out or was shilled into thinking that their current way of life isn’t up to par as to what it could be.

The Value proposition is the seed of a deal that is implanted in our minds upon our exposure to it, and is further iterated by our contemplation and re-exposure. Thinking about the same thought is akin to watering it and if the thought grows enough to bear fruit, that fruit can be action. (in terms of a mind garden of thoughts). Thinking of the same thought is akin to watering the mind, and if there’s too much watering going on, then you’ve become brainwashed.

As a Bonus,

I don’t believe it’s ethical to mind control people, but the mere fact of mentioning anything or living life or simply existing imposes belief values on others, so it’s sort of a thing that we do regardless. For instance, if you learn any new insights or theories from this article, then by some vague definition, I was able to influence you or control your mind to a leveraged and remote degree.

If you want to be great in marketing or sales, you essentially have to present your product as a near panacea of life improvement for the target audience. Essentially getting them to believe that they are lacking, in a scarcity mindset, or are not worthy if they don’t buy your product. You can do so by either focusing on their negative life without your product, or on the optimistic hope that your product will bring. Often times you’ll find that marketers focus on both.

That’s why a lot of limited time deals or sales add pressure to buyers, they will feel the fear of missing out on what could have been instead of living in the moment and being present in the Here and Now.

Thus marketing is essentially dark psychology into manipulating a collective mass of people to dislodge themselves from the sanctuary of Here and Now. From their idea of abundance and self worth. Which is rather easier if the target doesn’t have self worth.

It’s also the reason why many cults and fraternities have an indoctrination process, they break you down to instill new beliefs and values to build you into their idea of what you should be- rather than what or who you are.

And that’s my dark tip for you. On the bright side, if you know that this is what is going on, you too can also avoid feeling compelled or need to purchase many useless things or sign up for that extra timeshare or some vague form of temporal servitude. Instead of chasing that high, you can recognize and be grateful for the present moment, Here and Now, thus this knowledge is also protecting you.

Every facet of truth has this duality, I hope you use it to protect yourself rather than to solely manipulate others.

Epilogue;

There are radical people that do radical things because they are implanted with a belief system that forces them to think the delusional is actually the right course of action.

This can lead to many innovations and achievements, and it can also lead to many violent things and even self-harm. When we have our horse blinders up and have a narrow world view, the focused solution becomes the irrationally rational solution, even if it’s the wrong choice.

So, be careful with what you allow into your world and reality through words. Pay attention to the things influencing you and especially the things that make you question or doubt your beliefs. There may or may not be an ulterior motive. Afterall, the most common form of all of the above is often achieved through words, and-

Words Mean Things
