I just wanted to share a poem and a short essay and then go into a Ramble discussion,
The Poem;
Your parents
had parents
Who had parents
and that goes far back
before the oldest written history
your DNA
is an archive
with each change
from each lineage
and each interaction
Nations of the borne
people have had a hand
in your DNA
whether through them
or by people they meet
You are
The tip of a spear
ancestral lineage
An ambassador
the representative
of your blood lines
You are worth more
than you think
and they’re rooting for you
since the roots of your being
Your ancestors are ascendents
You are a descendent
One that can alter futures
of nations yet unborn
Through growth and evolution
may you become a transcendent
Whether the child be yours
or through interactions
of the people you meet
Know that
Your Ancestors exist
and you existing
is proof of that
The Short Essay;
I Title this, Ancestral Spear;
Remember, you reading this, are an existence that is the tip of a spear. You are the warrior from a long long ancient history of warriors, explorers, inventors, artisans, magnates, merchants, and survivors. The culmination of your parents’ parents from the very beginning of Human History have lead to the singularity that is you.
You are the tip of your Ancestral Spear.
You are the thing that many generations before strove to make. Will you also accomplish great feats for Human Kind? Or will you pass the torch for your progeny to toil in their own make? Perpetuating the Human-kindness.
As your life is in the make, know that there’s honor in it. There’s honor in surviving. There’s beauty in the pursuit, in living. In both knowing and not knowing.
His-Story, Miss-Story.
Yourstory is, of course, yours.
So point your Ancestral Spear to that which you desire, and know that you are not alone, for you are an army of many strong.
A Small ramble;
When you operate in this world, it’s good to have a few landmarks or foundational beliefs that you can align your world view as a reference point. You existing is proof of ancestors, unless you’re into that weird GodHead Brahma Brain-in-a-vat style of philosophical inquiry.
Even if you believe in such a philosophical stance, to BELIEVE fully is folly and foolish. So it’s best to entertain multiple possibilities and posit that you could very well be, well, wrong. In fact, I’d argue you’re wrong for the majority of your life, I haven’t met one person whose gotten more than 50% of their life right.
So, it’s in your best interest to know about your ancestors and to understand that you have ancestors and that you -surprise-, came from somewhere.
Honoring and praying towards your ancestors doesn’t require any specific religion as long as you believe in some sense of time and existence beyond death. Regardless, your DNA still carries the proof of your ancestry, so if you don’t believe in spirits, then you could simply believe in your own DNA and use Prayer or honor towards your ancestry as a way of psycho-somatically unlocking epigenetic expressions of yourself.
Try it sometime, Ask upon the warriors or your fore fathers for strength right before you commit to a feat of strength. Even if all of the above is fake, if your belief in it is real, atleast the placebo of it will merit different results. A Tangible real result if all else fails, therefore it’s never a failure to honor and respect your ancestors.
So you basically have nothing to lose by honoring or respecting your ancestors. In a way, honoring and respecting your ancestry is also honoring and respecting yourself.
As a side ramble, everything came from somewhere, as it seems. So plants, trees, bees, flowers, other people, have ancestors too. If you can imagine that long long long line of ancestors behind someone or something, then that’ll atleast make you understand that you should give a bit more respect to people existing in the Here and Now.
If you’re honoring your ancestors, consider also honoring other people’s ancestors too.
As a side note,
If you’re psychic or have gifts of communication, then consider drawing boundaries for yourself. Remember, you’re living your life and you’re in the hot seat, not them. So draw healthy boundaries to respect yourself.
For instance, if you have an ancestor that likes burning down villages and he/she wants you to burn down villages, consider, idk, maybe not honoring that wish. . . Things like that. Draw boundaries that respect yourself and honor yourself too.
Also, if you contact your ancestors, it’s good to speak or receive council from the benevolent or Ascended Ancestors. Not all ancestors are looking out for you nor do they care about you, especially selfish ones and if there’s mixed blood from tribes or nations or traumatic generational trauma.
Speaking of Generational trauma, your ancestors also benefit and heal when you heal yourself. That’s a pretty cool thing, because there’s literal epigenetic gene expression that goes along with this. So the more work you do in your life time, the more that helps those before you.
There’s a bit more magic and spiritual talks behind healing and affecting the temporal balance of your past, but that’s some 5D talk and I really can’t comfortably speak in this 3D world with this 2D language. So, forgive me for not elaborating any further.
Epilogue,
These are all just a theoretical view using various lenses to scope out the idea of ‘ancestors’ and ‘ancestry’.
My suggestion is to offer prayers and make offerings of food and meals. To dedicate some cool things to them. I personally like offering crackers and eating them to honor my Ancestors.
To deny your ancestors, would be to deny that you exist. I mean, you’re literally proof.
This is a bit different from other postings, but I thought it worth talking about in mine life and I can say, that prayers, thoughts, and words offered to your ancestors WILL definitely mean something.
As always,
Words Mean Things
