There is something to be said about the course of things, how we go through life, on a path, on a course. All of this relates to the journey, the way, the Dao.
To agree and say ‘yes, of course’ means that it is within the realms of reason or doing or within the plan of things.
To say that you’re going off course, means that the conversation or plans are being derailed off the tracts, to be distracted or to take a detour off the tour. Off the course.
Our words reflect something greater than what they seemingly appear.

Perhaps I’m rambling about the word ‘course’ or perhaps I’m hinting at something greater that eludes my ability to discuss it thoroughly.
